ABOUT
THE FARRIER
Schooled in Phoenix, Arizona almost four decades ago. I moved back to New York and have been keeping horses comfortable for 39 years.

The most important part of my work is ensuring your horse stays balanced. We, as equestrians, know that our industry is ever-changing. Because of this, I find it important to continue my education and schooling to stay active and current in my field. Twice a year I spend some time reviewing and honing my skills at 5 Star Horse Shoeing School in Oklahoma to continue my certifications through the American Farrier Association. Currently, I hold the Certified Farrier and American Professional Farrier with Foundation Credentials I also attend various workshops and clinics with fellow farriers throughout the year. Rest assured, I always schedule around these times and leave only a trusted substitute in an event of a shoeing emergency.
As a farrier, I know about the anatomy of the foot. At times, a horse might find itself in need of more than just a trim to make it more comfortable. Partnering with your veterinarian to decide on a hoof care plan can be a great way to ensure soundness in your horse for years to come. Whether your horse is just for backyard enjoyment, or a top athlete for elite competition, the horses hoof carries all of your horses activity. Let's work together to make a balanced and sound animal.
